Terrilynn Moore
Terrilynn Moore was born in Denver, Colorado in 1956. She has lived in Colorado her entire life.
She was a Denver Police Officer for ten years and also worked in a mental health facility for adolescent females.
At the mental health facility she was a mental health counselor and taught art to the clients.
Terrilynn is best known for her multi-media, sculptural paintings that depict over 200 vagina portraits in a highly successful art show called ‘The Pussy Project’.
Moore has also created a project entitled ‘Channeling Georgia’ in which she creates a series of master studies of a Georgia O’Keeffe paintings.
Currently, Terrilynn is working on her ‘Alzheimer’s Chronicles—a multi-media installment that expresses the frustration, pain and chaos of living with her mother who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and Dementia.
Terrilynn received her Associate of Science in Digital Media from Jones International University in 2010. Terrilynn began pursuing her BFA in Painting and Drawing from the University of Colorado Denver in 2011. Terrilynn has been recognized by the Honor Society since 2014. In June of 2014 she was awarded the College of Art and Media Visual Arts Travel Scholarship which sent her to the National Museum of Women in the Arts to study.
Terrilynn currently lives in Aurora, Colorado.
